Leda’s Locker: Ahhh, Weekend!

This week was the start of a 10-week Marathon for me. On top of my regular job (which is at a start-up & inherently has heavy workload), I have accepted an offer to lecture for a 400-student course at the university. Insane? I agree with you. I think this week I put in around 70 hours of work. On the other hand, it looks like I can handle it; my work is totally happy to let me work less with full pay if the teaching ends up taking too much out of me; and I love being able to be the non-academic professor who gets to stand up there and share new information with the students. So, all and all, life is good, even for an insane being like me.

To reward myself, I am going to spend most of this weekend on the beach. The sun is shining; the sky is as blue as it gets; fluffy clouds have been parading; and the sand is warm. What else could a gal ask for? Oh, I know! A sail boat Even though I don’t have my sail boat anymore – it was costing way too much money while I was finishing school – but my neighbor just invited me for a ride on his boat. So, I had to look around on SL and find a nice sailing spot, naturally. The pictures below are from New England sim . Besides its beauty, one thing I like about this sim is that you can put poseballs down and take pictures. A feature that most of the beautiful sims I visit lack.

I have been itching for some romantic pictures lately. So, if you are one of my male friends, consider yourself warned! I will be knocking on your window, and wanting to abuse you for an hour of jumping from one ball to another, while holding me in your arms half-clothed. How bad can that be?
